I do a lot of public speaking and I find this application to be a wonderful tool for inspiration. The ability to organize quotes in folders and the daily quote are invaluable and certainly worth $3.99.

When I saw that this was available to put on my iPhone right away!! I have loved this book for fifty years and to be able to read it anytime I want is something Ive always wanted!!! Thank you for making this available to me and others like me!!

I enjoy taking a moment of quiet time daily, to ponder a quotation from Bartletts. Perhaps some of the wisdom occasionally replaces trivia in the library of my mind.

I like the quote of the day but I cant figure out how to search for a quote! Also, the app display wont rotate from vertical to landscape on the iPad. Very frustrating even though I only paid $.99 for it.

Love the amount of quotes, how theyre categorized, and the many ways you can search through them. Would like a little smoother search, pressing the back button takes you back to square one, instead of to the search. The quote-of-the-day notification feature alone makes this worth buying--Johnny Cash lyrics? O YES.

It is easy to use and well worth the money I spent on this app.

The book has followed me back and forth to school to years. Now I can Bartletts wherever I am! The search feature and tags for the quotes are great.

Bartletts Familiar Quotations is simply the most elegant and beautiful way of browsing quotes on iOS. Everything about the app is pleasing to use. The quotes that are available in the app are plentiful and incredible. I havent witnessed any bugs or abnormalities, which makes the experience significantly better.

I have grown up with the print version and find this to be even more useful. It reveals powerful thoughts from brilliant minds on almost every subject.

I had the print version of Bartletts Familiar Quotations, which I loved to browse. I havent made that transition yet to the IOS app and others complain about how difficult it is to use for browsing. I think the app is worth the price I paid, however. I love the daily quotes that show up when I open my I-Phone. Sometimes they are so apt that I copy and paste them to my journal app and write a response. I liked one reviewers idea of attaching some quotes to photos and sharing them. Altogether one of my favorite apps.

This is a very interesting App. I love the history stored in the quotes. Very very cool.

This app has quotes by "Mark Twain", yet does know or show that that was a pseudonym used by Samuel Clemens, nor that Mr. Clemens made any remarks worth quoting outside of his published books. This alone aggravates me beyond tolerance. How can one rely on this when it provides no biographical information about its sources ? Nor date or time of publication ? This app provides bare words. For context and meaning, search elsewhere.
